Service Suspension & Infrastructure Continuity

This policy defines the conditions under which Szerj Systems provides, maintains, suspends, and restores hosting and infrastructure-related services. Its purpose is to ensure operational clarity, predictable enforcement, fair and consistent treatment across all clients, and separation of service availability from subjective value disputes.

This policy applies to any service where Szerj Systems controls or manages technical infrastructure, including but not limited to:

• ▮Website hosting environments
• ▮Domain and DNS management
• ▮SSL configuration
• ▮Email routing and technical setup
• ▮CMS or static site deployment
• ▮Basic security, backups, and uptime oversight
• ▮Infrastructure-level troubleshooting

This policy does not govern project-based creative work, consulting, or strategy delivery once completed.

Clients receiving hosting or infrastructure management are required to pay a recurring infrastructure fee, as specified in their agreement, invoice, or written notice.

• ▮Infrastructure fees are present-tense operating requirements
• ▮Fees are not contingent on usage, traffic, or perceived value
• ▮Fees are required as long as Szerj Systems provides the service

Failure to maintain a current account constitutes a breach of service conditions.

Infrastructure fees are not subject to:

• ▮Renegotiation based on results
• ▮Disputes over past project value
• ▮Relationship, goodwill, or verbal assurances
• ▮Delays pending future agreements

Infrastructure is either paid for or suspended. No exceptions.

Szerj Systems reserves the right to suspend services when:

• ▮A payment is past due beyond the stated deadline
• ▮An invoice remains unpaid
• ▮A recurring payment fails and is not remedied promptly

Suspension may occur without further notice once the payment deadline has passed.

During suspension:

• ▮Websites may be taken offline or replaced with a neutral availability notice
• ▮Email services may be paused
• ▮Administrative access may be restricted
• ▮No technical support or maintenance will be provided

Suspension is not punitive. It is a standard operational response to non-payment.

Service will be restored only when:

• ▮The account is brought fully current
• ▮Outstanding balances are paid in cleared funds

Restoration timing is subject to reasonable operational availability but is typically completed promptly once payment is confirmed.

Past flexibility, informal arrangements, delayed enforcement, or goodwill gestures do not constitute a waiver of this policy. Szerj Systems reserves the right to enforce this policy at any time regardless of prior leniency.

Clients are responsible for:

• ▮Maintaining current payment status
• ▮Ensuring valid payment methods for recurring charges
• ▮Communicating proactively if they intend to discontinue service

Failure to do so does not obligate Szerj Systems to continue providing services.

Clients may elect to terminate hosting and infrastructure services by:

• ▮Providing written notice
• ▮Paying all outstanding balances

Upon termination, Szerj Systems will, where applicable, provide reasonable cooperation for transfer of assets under separate agreement.

This policy is issued and enforced by Szerj Systems (Cameron Byers, Founder & Systems Architect). This policy supersedes any informal or verbal representations regarding hosting or infrastructure services.

Use of Szerj Systems hosting or infrastructure services constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this policy.
